Adverse Reactions

Significant: Rarely, allergic reactions. Gastrointestinal disorders: Nausea, vomiting, faecal discolouration (green). Nervous system disorders: Headache. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Pruritus, urticaria, diaphoresis.
Potentially Fatal: Anaphylaxis (during cardiac catheterisation).

Drug Interactions

May causes a decrease in absorption peak with heparin and preparations containing sodium bisulfite.
